I felt the exact same way lol. When I heard 5th project, I was thinking Maplestory Mesos would be as revolutionary as 4th job. I mean I suppose we did get a HUGE power boost, but it felt as though it was for the wrong reasons lol - it had been through buffing our 4th job abilities. I was so hoping it would be like the 3rd and 4th project progress, where we have a whole new set of skills. New bossing ability, new mobbing ability, etc.. We did get a new ability, but (?) Of these are a super-powered-but-cooldown skill, that yeah, makes it just feel like a different hyper : We are getting another ability shortly though, and I noticed there is also more on the way. But it seems as though they're all gont be such as busy hyperskills, too. I also liked the nodestone system at first. It seemed like a chill approach to progress. Finally, a slow-but-steady way of increasing your harm through training rather than cubing. Made me feel a little nostalgic lol. But nodestone prices appeared, and I understood how quickly you can farm them together with 2x events, shed equipment, and a 2x voucher x_x. Maxed out my most important skills super quickly and now I am back to only being able to gain damage through cubing... Despite all that, I really do like 5th job. I mean, it is far better than nothing. It opened a lot of boss content to unfunded players. I'm only frustrated about the lack of job-specific skills I was thinking cheapest Maplestory Mesos had been we couldn't just use the skill and swap it out for one more node lol. There's also the convenience factor. Irregular Skills on equips may be properly used without cooldown, so in the event that you die at a boss, you can merely re-equip and rebuff (or simply rebuff if it's already on your primary equip). Whereas the node ability, should you die while it is on cooldown, then you are fighting without it for a short time. I favor node abilities over equips though. Cuz I can't, for the life span of me, swap my equipment when there are critters around. Like, I caught my breath, but the damn thing does not begna equip.
