Directors of two Spanish newspapers - Sport and Mundo Deportivo - have published scathing comments about Neymar together with the Brazilian seeming to have taken a U-turn in his proposed transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.

The last week or so has seen major advancements in the Neymar transfer saga. After reports news bankrupt that PSG were willing to smash the world record transfer fee and pay the buyout clause of 195m of Neymar.

But, following a week of progress in the reports, and the supposed contract agreements, Barcelona centre half Gerard Pique posted an Instagram photo captioned 'Se queda' - about translating to 'He stays'

"The swings that were described are not those of the press But all those of the participant himself, that has changed his mind during nowadays. Neymar has every right to rethink what he needs and we have the duty.

"It's Neymar who's played with Barca, not the press."

Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo's Santi Nolla has slammed Neymar jersey replica for not declaring it and enabling Pique to do it.

"The first tweet or photo and phrase on Instagram ought to be from Neymar. The player is the one who should make the message clear."

After much commotion, Neymar might be staying at Camp Nou - but his activities have not endeared himself to the Spanish media whatsoever.
